Roughing It, Messy Sketchy Style

There’s so much I love about the start of the creative process. I’m drawn to the initial spark of ideas and the challenge of capturing them visually. I enjoy the early steps of collaborating with my patrons, getting to know their visions, and bringing them to life. For my personal art, I'd say about ninety percent of it never leaves the sketching phase, never becomes anything that can be considered finished. Yet, it’s the messy, dynamic, and ever-evolving nature of sketching that keeps me endlessly exploring art.

Finding a groove to develop an idea into a polished concept often feels more natural when I’m working with someone else. Past clients have inspired me to push beyond my sketchy tendencies and see ideas through to their full potential. The only thing I find more rewarding than sketching is presenting someone with their finished piece.
